Swiss general population

This project focuses extensively on the Swiss population’s preferences regarding future primary healthcare. In order to investigate these preferences, an online survey including a discrete choice experiment on a representative sample of the adult Swiss population from all parts of Switzerland has been conducted in fall of 2020 (n=5’350). Based on these data, valuable knowledge can be generated about what primary healthcare could and should look like in the future. The project especially focusses on differences in preferences of population sub-groups, such as respondents with chronic diseases, different age groups, different health literacy as well as individuals from different national regions. A further focus of the research is on the preferences of the population with regard to the redistribution of healthcare costs.
